EXCELLENTTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I hired Sundeck Pavers to install pavers on my large driveway and front walkway. Sam (the owner) came out, performed his measurements, and explained my options of paver quality and colors. The job was about $12,000 and was to be performed in Jan 2023 by my timeline. Come January I contacted Sam to order the pavers and give me an install date. They had to rip out my concrete driveway and walkway and level the surface in preparation for the pavers so it was a multi-day project. Because of some delays by the paver manufacturer and then trying to fit me in to his crew schedule the project did not begin until February 10. Based on my experience with other family members who have contracted for this same type of work these delays are common. The removal of the concrete and excavation work took about two days. Aside from a couple of cracks on the bottom of the wall, which occurred when the concrete was separated from the wall, a broken sprinkler pipe under the driveway, and damage to two sprinkler heads which were right on the driveway edge, the rest of the job went smoothly. I must add that the damage was repaired by them after the pavers were installed. I have seen some paver projects done in South Florida which didn't impress me so I will say that the quality of the work on my job was top notch. The pavers were nicely laid and completely level. They sealed the pavers and grout at the end and even filled in a small gap between the pavers and the corners of my front porch. I'm very happy with the results and the price was well worth it. The neighbors have complimented me on the look and have even asked for the company contact as they are now interested in doing the same. It has resulted in my house standing shoulders above the others on curb appeal. On last thing, about 5 of the paver stones had small corner or side pieces break off because of either voids when the pavers were manufactured or some other manufacturing defect. I contacted Sam about it and after some time he sent a crew out to replace them with extra pavers I had leftover as per his warranty. The delay was the result of a death in his family so I understood. I recommend everyone with a nice home in a good neighborhood to consider doing this work and using this company.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The job was done so well, we decided to add another 1,500 sq. ft. with driveway/walkway replacement and extending the back deck. It took quite a while to get the pavers, but Subdeck had no control over that. The install wasn't easy, as we have large oak trees with insane roots, but the results were worth the wait.
